Acupuncture has always played a significant role in my life. My father, Grant Smith, was one of the pioneering acupuncturists in British Columbia. Alongside a dedicated group, he tirelessly advocated for the legalization of acupuncture, which was finally recognized under the Health Professions Act in 1996.
